houseTTPS1 is our original preschool focused on 2 and 3 year old children. Our curriculum is designed to allow children to gain confidence in their personal strength, an awareness of their individual gifts, and the desire to share their joy with others in society.

Here at Tabor Tots and Tabor Tots 2 we know how important it is for you to be able to know the school’s hours, days of operation, and specific days when the school is closed. To help you with this we offer a streaming calendar with all of our hours and closures. You can find out more, as well as see our normal schedule on our Hours/Days page.

We start our day using song, rhyme, movement and dance. Children learn about weather, animals, nature and craft (cooking, building, cleaning, etc.). What IS provided

  • Food: A wholesome AM & PM snack, and a “whole food” lunch
  • Supplies: All artistic materials
  • Care: A loving, safe, and rich environment for your child to grow and thrive

What is NOT provided

(Include your child’s name on each item)
  • Box of tissues
  • Package of wet wipes
  • Bags: Ziploc-style (1 each of gallon & quart sizes)

  • Two changes of clothing that stay in the student’s cubby
  • A pair of indoor slippers and a pair of outdoor gum boots or outdoor shoes

What IS provided

  • Nap time bedding (we ask you bring this home once a week, wash & return)
  • Tubs for extra clothing (please write child’s name on each personal item)
  • Food: A wholesome AM & PM snack, and a “whole food” lunch
  • Loads of love and activities from State of Oregon Highly Qualified Teachers
  • Journal for each child (this is used for book work along with positive communication with you)
  • Field trips and daily excursions to Mount Tabor Park Lands
  • Master Gardening techniques (we provide the tools)
  • Master Yoga techniques (we provide the mats)
  • Woodworking tools and supplies
  • Sewing Projects and supplies

What is NOT provided

(Include your child’s name on each item)
  • Box of tissues
  • Package of wet wipes
  • Bags: Ziploc-style (1 each of gallon & quart sizes)
  • 5 oz bottle of glue
  • 1 package colored pencils
  • 1 package of colored markers
  • 1 bag of cotton balls
  • Any and all SHOE BOXES you can spare for art projects!
  • Take a walk in nature and bring in cones, moss, lichen, branches and rocks

We’ve had our son at Tabor Tots for over a year now and he absolutely loves it! All of the teachers have been fantastic and sometimes it’s even hard to get him to come home at the end of the day. Thanks so much for your incredible school!
